Action

WIPE OUT DEBT Action Cards
The first meeting of the G7 finance ministers has passed – and it is more important than ever that we get people to sign up to the postcard petition! Campaigners are spreading the word by putting the cards in their local libraries for people to pick up or having them in their offices and workplaces and talking to colleagues about the campaign. The next important date for getting your action cards returned is April 16th the date for the Spring World Bank/IMF meeting. After this we will be concentrating on the next G7 finance ministers meeting held in June. Please return your cards as soon as possible.

Feed Us Your Comments
We would be glad to hear any comments or questions from debt campaigners around Scotland. If you have any questions or issues that you think we should be dealing with, please let us know. Please call Ben Young on 0131 225 4321 or e-mail him at: Ben@jubileescotland.org.uk

Jubilee Cyclists
The famous Jubilee Cyclists who cycle to the G8 Summit every year are inviting anyone who wants to get involved. There will be three bicycle rides in the run up to the G8 Summit in Gleneagles that aim to draw attention to the debt crisis:
1. A once in a life time experience of cycling through Tanzania and Kenya visiting projects that have been funded through debt cancellation. June 5-18.
2. Cycle from London to Edinburgh to be at the MakePovertyHistory demonstration 2nd July.
3. Cycle from Birmingham, where the G8 last met in the UK in 1998, to Edinburgh
To find out more please email the cyclists at Jubileecycle2005@fsmail.net
