WHISKY TASTING: Celebrate Scotland's positive exports!

Whisky glassJubilee Scotland's 'Break the Chains' campaign calls on Scotland to create an ethical export agency which will strengthen and encourage trade in positive exports, and not in harmful industries such as the arms trade.

As part of this campaign, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting a whisky tasting event lead by long-term debt campaigner and 'Whisky Man of the Year 2011', John Lamond.

John will talk guests through each of the five whiskies on offer, accompanied by Scottish cheeses and oatcakes.

So whether you are a seasoned whisky sampler looking for something new or this is your first tasting, there’ll be something for everyone.

The event will be on October 12 from 6:30pm and will be held on the Vine Trust Barge at the Prince of Wales Dock, Leith – the historic home of Edinburgh’s trade.

To book a ticket you can buy online, or contact Ellen to reserve a ticket and arrange payment with cheque or cash.
