Our Annual Reports provide a summary of our work and campaign successes over the given period. Below you can find reports covering the past few years of debt justice campaigning in Scotland.

The last couple of years have been tough on everyone as the COVID-19 pandemic has taken over many facets of our lives. COVID-19 led us to rethink and adjust our approaches to work, as working from home became obligatory and meetings with our allies became video calls. The concept of a Debt Jubilee gained renewed prominence due to financial crisis brought on by COVID-19 as well as Climate Debt as a result of the UK taking on the role of President in the 2021 COP26.

We took this opportunity to campaign for debt justice for the Global South alongside other organisations and coalitions such as Global Justice Now via our Zambia campaigning, Stop Climate Chaos Scotland through the Glasgow Climate Dialogues, and more. As well as running our own events including letter-writing to the Minister for International Development, Jenny Gilruth MSP, and a Webinar with Global South voices.

Now as we make our way through 2022, we bring our attention back to Public Private Partnerships (Scotland Against Public Private Partnerships; SAPPP), to enter into Stage Two of the campaign after beginning our journey with Stage One in 2019.

We continue to try and take up as many opportunities as possible to work on all aspects on debt justice, build an awareness of the issues associated with debt and engage new people in our work.

Take a look at our report from this year and previous years.

Annual Report 2021-22

Annual Report 2020-21

Annual Report 2019-20
